Todd Augers & Equipment North Island, A Quick History
Todd Augers & Equipment was founded by Mr Ian Todd in a small South Canterbury township called Morven in 1955. Ian developed the processes for the manufacture of augers and spiral welded pipe currently used today. Based in the South Island it was decided, to better service their North Island clients, a sales and manufacturing division would be set up closer to them to reduce lead times and transport costs.
Wanganui was decided as this location due to its central location, good transport distribution networks, and a fabrication company that had previously partnered with Todd augers on installation projects.
In early 2018 training was started and a dedicated auger fabrication shop and drafting facility were established, with the emphasis on quality, accuracy and the pride that comes with the proud history of Todd Augers and Equipment.
